This large, recently renovated villa once belonged to the Bishop of Volterra and has a rich history dating back to 970 AD. This villa is on the provincial road to Volterra where the Elsa, Evola, and Era valleys meet. This is a wonderful place for relaxing with family and friends. Located on a large estate with other apartments for guests, Quercia has its own private pool and garden. In the heart of Tuscany, this is an ideal location for exploring the region. San Gimignano is only 10 kilometers away. Siena is 47 kilometers and Florence is 60 kilometers from Quercia.

The Villa has three levels. The first floor has lots of living space with two large living rooms, a dining room, and a kitchen. There is a large oval table in the dining room that seats 16 to 18. The living room has a large fireplace and doors that lead to the pool area. A large stairway takes you to the second floor that has eight bedrooms and eight full bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms have queen beds with en suite bathrooms. The other four bedrooms have two twin beds with en suite bathrooms. Seven of the bathrooms have showers and one has a bathtub. The ground floor has a large open ballroom that can be used for banquets, weddings or other festivities.

Cleaning service three times a week is included in the weekly price. There is a telephone available at the reception on the estate. There is a common laundry room that guests can use for a fee. There is a typical Tuscan Trattoria nearby where groceries and local products (wine, extra virgin olive oil, honey, and grappa) can be purchased. Tennis, golf, and horseback riding facilities are located eight kilometers from the estate.
